Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents. 2. By means of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioners have prayed for following relief:- "Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus Commanding/directing the respondent no.2 to revise and enhance the circle rate of the land of petitioners situated in Budhera Jahidpur, Ward No.36, Nagar Nigam Meerut, Tehsil Sadar, District- Meerut in the ratio of the other similar land of the nearby/adjoining Nagar Nigam Areas of Budhera Jahidpur and adjudicate and decide the representation of the petitioners dated 02.06.2025 by means of reasoned order according to law" 3. On a bare reading of the relief sought, it prima facie appears to be a relief in the nature of public interest. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to avail the remedy in the nature of public interest by filing an appropriate petition before the competent court.
