The petitioner has filed the present writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the gratuity, leave encashment, family pension etc., and other retiral benefits of Smt. Bholi, mother of the petitioner, who served as sweeper from 06.11.1985 to 22.12.2019, alongwith interest @ 12% per annum. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 26.05.2025 (Annexure P-2) on the respondents and he shall be satisfied in case, appropriate directions are issued to the respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 26.05.2025 (Annexure P-2) in a time bound manner. 3. Notice of motion. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record carefully. 6. At this stage, respondent No.2 is directed to decide the representation dated 26.05.2025 (Annexure P-2) submitted by the petitioner, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, by passing a speaking and well reasoned order. It is expected that respondent No.2 shall pass a speaking and well-reasoned order by taking into consideration the relevant rules, instructions and the settled law. In case, it is found that the petitioner is entitled to any consequential relief, the same shall be released to him forthwith along with a reasonable rate of interest. 7. The present petition is disposed of, accordingly.
