Mazumder, learned counsel for the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ petition is filed putting to challenge the ex-parte award dated 22.01.2025 passed by the arbitrator, whereby the petitioner was directed to pay a sum of Rs. 15,33,409/- (Rupees fifteen lakh thirty three thousand four hundred nine) including interest and other charges. Being aggrieved the present writ petition has been filed. Page No.# 3/3 Today when the matter is called up, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he be permitted to take necessary steps as prescribed under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for assailing the ex-parte award dated 22.01.2025. In view of such submissions, the writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
