Heard Sri Basavaraj M. Police Patil, learned counsel for the writ petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Advocate, who represents the respondents.

Learned counsel for the writ petitioner submits that the petitioner was involved in two criminal cases and both ended in acquittal. The name of petitioner was included in rowdy sheeter list and his name was not deleted. On that, the petitioner filed a writ petition in

W.P.No.203405/2023 and this Court disposed of the writ petition, directing the police authorities to close the rowdy sheet, which was opened against the petitioner and delete his name from the rowdy register. Accordingly, his name was deleted. However, the respondents did not delete his name from the memorandum of Modus Operandi Body (MOB). The petitioner gave a representation for deletion of his name from MOB on 07.02.2025. However, there is no response till now and therefore, the present writ petition is filed.
3. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that steps are being taken for removal of the name of the petitioner from MOB.
4. Having considered the submission thus made and as the relief sought for is justifiable, the writ petition is disposed of with the following directions: i) Respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.02.2025, take steps for deletion of the name of the petitioner from MOB

after due verification of all relevant records and communicate the decision to the petitioner. ii) The exercise be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
