This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer; "To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent concerned to prefer the lease over Gata No.167 situated in the village Tusapati, Tehsil-Meerganj, District-Bareilly, in favour of petitioner." 2. It is contended that last date for filing of application for fisheries lease was 29.8.2025 and the auction was to take place on 9.9.2025. Petitioner could not participate in the auction proceeding as he could not apply in time. According to petitioner's counsel the said auction has not taken place on 9.9.2025 and he may be permitted to apply for fisheries rights. 3. This Court finds that once the auction has not taken place on 9.9.2025, the authorities concerned shall readvertise the same and fix some other date. No case for interference is made out. 4. Writ petition stands dismissed.
