HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - A No. - 14656 of 2025 Court No. - 52 HON'BLE MRS. MANJU RANI CHAUHAN, J. The petitioner has preferred instant writ petition for a direction upon the respondent authority to allow him to function on the post of Itinerant Teacher pursuant to the appointment letter dated 27.02.2008 and also extend his services as per the guidelines issued by the Project Director, Integrated Education State Project Office. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as Itinerant Teacher in the year 2008 and he worked satisfactorily up to April, 2021. He was diagnosed with chronic disease - cancer, thus, he proceeded for his treatment and could not attend his job during tenure of his treatment. After recovering from the disease, the petitioner moved an application on 26.03.2025 praying for permission to join his services, but the same has not been considered. Having considered the peculiar facts and sufferings which compelled the petitioner to remain absent, I find that it would be in the interest of justice, if the respondent no. 5 - District Basic Education Officer, Firozabad considers petitioner's grievance sympathetically. The petitioner is permitted to move a fresh representation alongwith certified copy of this order before the respondent no. 5 within three weeks from today, which shall be considered and decided by the respondent no. 5 within six weeks from the date of production of the representation, keeping mind the petitioner's condition, if there is no legal impediment. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs. September 25, 2025 DS Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : D.K.Ojha, Vikas Kumar Ojha Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
