Heard Sri Kunwar Mayank Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Shridhar Tripathi, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents and Sri Azad Rai, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Gram Sabha. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent No. 2, the Additional Commissioner (Administration), Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj to decide the case no. 493 of 2022, computerized case no. C202202000000493 (Deshraj and others vs. Salma Bano and others), under Section 207 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, within a stipulated time period. Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition to point out that although several dates have been fixed but for some reason or the other, matter has been adjourned. The delay in disposal of the case is stated to be causing hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to the respondent No. 2, the Additional Commissioner (Administration), Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj, to conclude the proceedings at an early date. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the respondent No. 2 would make an endeavor to conclude the proceedings of the case, which is stated to be pending before it, preferably within a period of six months, without granting any Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Kunwar Mayank Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : Azad Rai, C.S.C.
