Maria, learned counsel for principal respondent Nos. 1 to 13; and Mr. K. Eengba Meitei, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 14 to 174. [2] By the present application, the State authority is praying for extension of another six months’ time for compliance of the order dated 16-12-2024 passed in WP(C) No. 138 of 2024. By the said order, this Court directed the State authority to complete the process of appointment of fourteen reserved seats under die-in-harness scheme within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. It is submitted that the four months’ time will expire on 05-05-2025. [3] Ms. Kh. Maria, learned counsel for the principal respondents/writ petitioners, submits that only two months’ time be given. [4] This Court has perused the material on record and considered the submissions made at the Bar. The direction for compliance of the order MC(WP(C)) No. 288 of 2025 dated 16-12-2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 138 of 2024 is extended by another period of 3 (three) months w.e.f. 06-05-2025. [5] With this observation, the application is disposed of. [6] Furnish a copy of this order to the learned counsel appearing for the parties.
