Inter College, Barkheri, Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar since 2006. He was transferred to Govt. Inter College, Totanaula, District Pithoragarh on 30.7.2024. Feeling aggrieved by his transfer, petitioner has approached this Court. (3) Learned Counsel for the petitioner contended that in GIC, Totanaula, where petitioner has been transferred, there is no student of Commerce in Intermediate Classes, therefore transfer of petitioner to the said college is waste of resources and there is no public interest involved in transferring the petitioner. (4) Learned State Counsel was asked to get instructions. Today, Mr. Rajeev Singh Bisht, learned State Counsel, on instructions, submits that in view of the objection raised by the petitioner, competent authority can transfer him to some other institution where commerce classes are being run and students are also available. (5) In such view of the matter, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to Additional Director, Kumaon, Nainital to 2025:UHC:7487 amend the order of transfer by changing the place of posting of petitioner. Necessary exercise shall be done within a week.
