This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Issue a writ order of direction in the nature mandamus directing the Additional Commissioner, Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj to expeditiously decide the restoration application having computerized no.00773/2020 In First Appeal No.46/1998-99 (Brij Mohan Vs. Ramdev and others) as well as the First Appeal No.46/1998-99 filed under section 210 of U.P.Land Revenue Act 1901 arising out of demarcation proceeding pending before Additional Commissioner Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj within stipulated period." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that restoration application filed in appeal under Section 210 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 is pending consideration before respondent no. 2 since 2020. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to decide the Restoration Application having Computerized No. 00773/2020 filed in First Appeal No. 46/1998-99 (Brij Mohan vs. Ramdev and others), in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
