Also heard Ms. R. M. Baruah, learned counsel for the respondent No. 2 and Mr. R. K. Talukdar, learned counsel for the Accountant General, Assam. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is regarding wrong fixation of pay. It is the submission of the petitioner that the petitioner’s existing Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- is to be revised to Rs.4400/-, in terms of the resolution on the report of the 7th Assam Pay and Productivity Pay Commission and the report of the committee with the Assam Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017, including Revise Pay Structures Schedule (Department-wise). However, the petitioner’s Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- has been revised to Rs.3900/-, instead of Rs.4400/-. 3. The petitioner’s counsel submits that the petitioner is a Grade-IV employee of Janata High School, Lattimara of Cachar district. Numerous representations have been submitted by the petitioner, which have not been considered by the Page No.# 3/3 respondents till date. He accordingly prays that a direction should be issued to the respondent Nos. 3 & 4 to take a decision on the petitioner’s representation, especially the representation dated 17.11.2021, which is at Annexure-8 of the writ petition. 4. The counsels for the respondents submit that they have got no objection to the prayer made by the petitioner’s counsel. 5. In view of the consent of the parties, the respondent Nos. 3 & 4 are directed to take a decision on the petitioner’s representation dated 17.11.2021, with regard to whether the petitioner’s Grade Pay should be Rs.3900/- or Rs.4400/- per month. In the event the petitioner is entitled to the Grade Pay of Rs.4400/- per month, the petitioner’s Grade Pay should be corrected and the arrears of pay, if any, payable to the petitioner, should be calculated and given. The entire exercise should be concluded within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition. 6.
