--------
Order No.02 /Dated: 17th April 2025
The instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioner praying for a direction upon the respondent-authorities to promote the petitioner from the post of Constable/MMV to Head Constable/MMV (HC/MMV) as the claim of the petitioner is that the junior to the petitioner has already been promoted to the said post.
2. Looking to the averments made in this writ application, it appears that interest of justice would be sufficed by directing the 4th Respondent to consider this writ application as representation and take a decision in the matter in accordance with law and applicable rules and regulations by passing a reasoned and speaking order. It goes without saying that order shall be passed within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the same shall be communicated to the petitioner. The petitioner is also directed to serve the copy of the instant writ application along with this order to the 4th Respondent at the earliest so that his grievance can be redressed.
3. Accordingly, the writ application stands disposed of.
