A limited prayer has been made for issuing directions to the Board of Revenue (for short ‘the Board’) to decide the pending application expeditiously, as early as possible within a time frame. (2 of 2) [CW-3828/2025] 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred an appeal under Section 224 of the Rajasthan Tenancy Act, 1955 against the judgment and decree dated 31.03.2017 passed by the Revenue Appellate Authority, Tonk before the Board in the year 2017, but in-spite of passing of more than eight years, till date, the appeal has not been decided. Counsel submits that in the interest of both parties, a direction be issued to the Appellate Court to decide the appeal expeditiously as early as possible. 3. Considering the above submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner and looking to the fact that the appeal is pending before the Court since last more than eight years i.e. since 2017, it is expected from the Board to make all possible endeavours to decide the same expeditiously, as early as possible, preferably within a period of six month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition stands disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. 5. Before parting with this, it is made clear that this Court has not issued any direction/order to the Appellate Court to decide the appeal in a particular way. The Appellate Court would be at liberty to decide the same strictly in accordance with law. (ANOOP KUMAR DHAND),J KuD/17
