On an oral prayer, counsel for the petitioner is permitted to correct the prayer clause in the writ petition. Heard Sri Rajeev Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Abhishek Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent No. 2, the Commissioner, Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh, to decide Revision No. 724 of 2021, computerized case no. C202115000000724 (Praveen Kumar vs. Amit Kumar and others), under Section 333 of the U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, 1950, expeditiously and within a stipulated time period. Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition to point out that although several dates have been fixed but for some reason or the other, matter has been adjourned. The delay in disposal of the case is stated to be causing hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to the respondent No. 2, the Commissioner, Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh, to conclude the proceedings at an early date. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the respondent No. 2 would make an endeavor to Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Rajiv Kumar Mishra Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
