The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379, 504, 506, 406, 420 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. 3. It is a case of cheque bounce. 4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is not the author of the cheque which is said to have bounced. Moreover, the alleged amount of cheque has already been deposited by co-accused Sailesh Kumar Singh. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, fact that petitioner is not the author of the cheque in question and period of custody, the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner is allowed. 7. Accordingly, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Vaishali District Court at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Nagar P.S.
