The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Daltonganj Sadar P.S. Case No. 59 of 2022, corresponding to G.R. Case No.1629 of 2022, S.T. Case No.629 of 2022, for the offence registered under Sections 364/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Palamau. Son of the informant namely Suraj Kumar Yadav was abducted for ransom. Suspicion was raised upon the petitioner and other accused persons that they might have hand in abduction of the victim. It was submitted that apart from suspicion, there is no other material against the petitioner on record. It was further submitted that several similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court as well as by the Coordinate Bench of this Court. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Palamau, in connection with Daltonganj Sadar P.S.
