CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SHAILENDRA SINGH ORAL ORDER 2 25-09-2025 The instant writ application has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief(s):
“(i) To issue an appropriate order/s direction/s including a writ preferably in the nature of CERTIORARI for quashing the order dated 25-03-2025
Patna High Court CWJC No.15211 of 2025(2) dt.25-09-2025 2/3 passed in Mutation Appeal No. 301/2024-25 passed by the learned Deputy Collector, Land Reforms, Bihar, Patna by which he has rejected the order dated 19-04- 2024 passed in Mutation Case No. 3724/2023-24 by Circle Officer, bar, Patna under 7 of Bihar Land Mutation Act, 2011. (ii) To any other relief/s to which the petitioner is found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. Mr. Brij Mohan Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Kamlesh Kishore, learned AC to SC- 12 are present and they are heard.

By way of this writ application, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 25.03.2025 passed in Mutation Appeal No. 301/2024-25 by the Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Patna (in short, ‘DCLR, Patna’), by which the order dated 19.04.2024 passed in Mutation Case No. 3724/2023-24 by the Circle Officer, Barh, Patna, has been set aside. Against the
order which has been impugned in this writ application, the petitioner has several other efficacious remedies, such as filing a revision or approaching the Bihar Land Tribunal, Patna. The petitioner has not satisfied this Court as to why he has approached to this Court without availing of the said efficacious remedies. This Court is not persuaded to invoke its writ jurisdiction to resolve the petitioner’s issue at this stage.

4. Accordingly, the instant writ application stands
disposed of, with giving liberty to the petitioner to avail the efficacious alternative remedies available to him.
