JUSTICE ANANT RAMANATH HEGDE) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 2. This petition is for writ of mandamus. The petitioner claims that on 17.12.2022, he has submitted a representation which is marked at Anneuxre-D, addressing the same to respondent No.3-Tahasildar to enter his name in the property records of property bearing Sy. No.14 of Gornalli (B) village, Taluk and District Bidar. This claim according to the petitioner is based on the land grant under the notification dated 19.03.1991. The petitioner claims that the necessary certificate is issued in Form No.7 on 01.04.2005. It is further stated that despite land being - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-K:1495 WP No. 201252 of 2023 granted in his favour and he complying all the requirement relating to the land grant, his name is not entered in the property records pertaining to the land granted. Thus, the representation is submitted on 17.12.2022 to the jurisdictional Tahsildar. 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that the representation dated 17.12.2022 will be considered and the petitioner may be required to produce additional documents in support of his claim. His submission is noted. 4. Hence, the following: ORDER i) The writ petition is allowed in part. ii) Respondent No.3-Tahasildar is directed to consider the representation dated 17.12.2022 in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders and communicate the same to the - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC-K:1495 WP No. 201252 of 2023 petitioner within 60 days from the date of this order. iii) The petitioner shall furnish such other documents as may be required for the purpose. iv) It is made clear that nothing is expressed on the merits of the claim.
