Nair, Advocate 2 Hon’ble Shri Justice Rakesh Mohan Pandey Judgment On Board 20-06-2025 1) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that father of petitioner, namely, Mahangu Ram who was working as Assistant Line Man under the respondents died in harness on 22.06.2000. He further submits that application for compassionate appointment was moved by petitioner on 11.08.2000 but till date, same has not been considered. He prays for a direction to the respondent authorities to consider his application. 2) On the other hand, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents submits that after long 25 years, it would not be apt to consider the application of petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment. 3) Heard. 4) Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by Mr. Dewangan, this petition is hereby being disposed of directing the respondent authorities to consider and decide the pending application so moved by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law. Petitioner would be at liberty to make fresh representation too. 5) With the aforesaid direction(s), this petition stands disposed of.
