(Oral) Through instant petition, petitioner has laid challenge to impugned transfer dated 19.3.2025 (Annexure P-1), whereby petitioner, who at present is working as Constable at Police Station Bangana, District Una, has been ordered to be transferred to 1st Battalion, Junga, Shimla. 2. Since it is quite apparent from the pleadings as well as documents adduced on record by the petitioner that prior to the impugned transfer, petitioner has been working in District, Una, for last nine years, this Court sees no reason to interfere in the impugned transfer order. However, having taken note of the adverse family - 2 - circumstances of the petitioner, as have been explained to this Court this Court, deems it fit to dispose to the present petition, reserving liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate representation to the competent authority, praying therein for cancellation of transfer or adjustment at nearby station within one week, which in turn shall be decided by the competent authority within one week. Ordered accordingly. Authority concerned while doing the needful shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass speaking orders. Till the time, representation, if any, filed within one week, is decided by the competent authority, the petitioner shall not be compelled to join at the transferred station.
