Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:- (i). That the respondent- State may be asked to frame pension scheme/ policy and the scheme/ policy for other retiral benefits qua the petitioner and other Home Guards and he may be ordered to be paid pension and other retiral benefits such as gratuity, ex- gratia and group insurance etc. from the date the petitioner has been retired from service. (ii). That the Home Guards rules may be struck down to the extent for not making any provisions for pension and other retiral benefits qua the petitioner and other Home Guards.” 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the Judgment?Yes 2 2. In the light of the judgment pronounced by us today in CWP No.6654 of 2023, this petition is also not maintainable, as the issue raised in the present writ petition is also same and similar to the one which was raised in the Original Application, reference of which has been given by us in detail in Civil Writ Petition i.e. CWP No.6654 of 2023. 3. Accordingly, this writ petition is also dismissed with the observation that the reasoning given by us in CWP No.6654 of 2023 shall be construed to have been returned in the present petition also.
