As per the letter dated 25th May, 2026, apparently, 8.75 acres of land has been identified and 5.622 acres of land has already been transferred in favour of the Tribal Development Department. As per the minutes of the meeting dated 29th November, 2024 (Annexure-1, page 237 of the paper book) clause 19 thereof, the prescribed area has been reduced to a minimum of 8 acres of land. In the status report (page 233-235), it has been mentioned that the construction of 10 boys' hostel rooms is nearing completion and is expected to be completed within the next two months, adjoining the existing infrastructure of the Mountaineering Institute under the Youth Services and Sports (YSS) Department. 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the Judgment? 2. It has also been mentioned that continuous efforts by the respondents are being made to complete the remaining transfer formalities at the earliest so that construction of the permanent campus of Eklavya Model Residential School Bharmour at Holi is undertaken in the larger interest of tribal students of the area. 3. Keeping in view the primary relief, as such, the main purpose of the Public Interest Litigation was the construction of the EMRS complexes in the said area. As such, the learned counsel had not pressed the prayer for construction at Khani on an earlier date. Thus, we are of the considered opinion that there is no further requirement to monitor the said issue and that the respondents will ensure that the facilities which are being constructed for the benefit of the students would be completed and maintained for all practical purposes. Accordingly, we deem it appropriate to close the Public Interest Litigation. Ordered accordingly. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
