ORDER 17.08.2026 Initially, vide order dated 25.04.2018, the petitioner came to be engaged on consolidated pay of ₹6500/- and has been continuously performing the duties as such, therefore, is seeking regularization and same treatment as has been accorded to one Shri Sachin Sharma (Supervisor) who has been absorbed by the respondent department vide order dated 28.04.2022. To the contrary, objections have been filed by the respondents and have taken a stand that the case of the petitioner is not similar to that of Shri Sachin Sharma (Supervisor), therefore, he cannot be accorded same treatment. Be that as it may, the respondents being a model employer, cannot discriminate between similarly situated persons, particularly the employee who falls at the bottom of the pyramid of hierarchy of the department, therefore, this petition is taken on board and accordingly disposed of with a direction to the respondents to examine the case of the petitioner and accord consideration to the regularization of his services, keeping in view the treatment meted out to similarly situated persons by the respondents and take a decision in this regard expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from today. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of along with connected application(s) in the manner indicated above.
