The respondents have taken the stand that since the petitioner never approached the department, therefore there is no occasion to consider her claim. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that if the petitioner approaches the respondents, her case shall be considered accordingly. In view of the submissions made, this petition is taken on board and is disposed of by providing that the instant writ petition shall be treated as representation on behalf of the petitioner and respondent No. 4 shall accord consideration to the case of the petitioner within the parameters of the law governing the subject, within a period of eight weeks from the date of copy of this order is made available to him.
