Mr. Abhijeet Singh Chauhan, learned vice counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue raised in the present petition is squarely covered by the judgment passed by this Court in CWP No.5368 of 2024, titled, Rajinder Singh vs. HRTC and others, decided on 12.08.2026 and, as such, his petition may be disposed of in terms of the directions contained in the said judgment. 3. In view of the above submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, no reply is sought from the respondents. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 that he has no objection, in case, direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the claim of the petitioner strictly in terms of the dictum passed in the aforementioned case. 5. Consequently, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2/competent authority that if the case of the petitioner is found to be similarly situate to that of Rajinder Singh’s case (supra), similar relief shall be extended to him. The needful shall be done by the respondents within a period of two months from today.
