By means of this application under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., the applicant has sought expeditious disposal of Criminal Case No. 1687/2019 (Case Crime No. 61 of 2019, State of Uttarakhand vs. Vikesh Kumar & Ors., under Sections 147/323/504/427 I.P.C., P.S. Doiwala, District Dehradun), pending in the Court of Civil Judge (JD)/Judicial Magistrate, Doiwala, Dehradun, as expeditiously as possible. 4. The only ground agitated by the learned counsel for the applicant is that the case has been pending since 17th September 2019, and more than seven years have elapsed, yet the matter has not been decided. He submits that the rights of the applicant have been adversely prejudiced due to the prolonged pendency of the case and that the respondents are adopting delaying tactics to linger the matter. Learned counsel for the applicant further submits that charges were framed on 01.06.2024. However, he has placed the order sheet on record. On perusal of the order sheet dated 04th May 2026, it is evident that the case was fixed for prosecution evidence on 06.06.2026. 5. Since, from the recorded proceedings, it is evident that the proceedings of the aforesaid case are not progressing at the expected pace, in exercise of powers under Section 483 of the Cr.P.C., the Civil Judge (JD)/Judicial Magistrate, Doiwala, Dehradun, is directed to decide Criminal Case No. 1687/2019 (Case Crime No. 61 of 2019, State of Uttarakhand vs. Vikesh Kumar & Ors., under Sections 147/323/504/427 I.P.C., P.S. Doiwala, District Dehradun) as expeditiously as possible, without granting any undue adjournment to either side. 6. In view of the above, the Criminal Misc. Application is hereby disposed of.
