By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for following reliefs:- “i) That the impugned office order dated 16.11.2023 contained in Annexure P-3 may kindly be quashed and set aside. ii) That the respondent may kindly be directed to grant two additional increments to the petitioner as per the notification and reckon the same for consequential benefits including pay/pension and retiral dues, by granting two additional increments on completion of twenty years service by the petitioner as Conductor(s), for fixation of their pay on promotion to the post of Inspector and on actual basis w.e.f. 01.07.2015, consequently revising their pay/retiral dues including pension.” 2. Learned Counsel for the respondent-Corporation has handedover communication dated 19/12/2025 addressed by Managing Director of the respondent-Corporation to its Divisional Managers and 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Regional Managers on the subject of “grant of two additional increments on completion of 20 years of regular service by conductors.-consolidated instructions/checklist for compliance”. He submits that needful in the case of petitioner is also being done as per said communication. 3. In the light of this development, this petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent-corporation that needful in terms of communication dated 19/12/2025 be done as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of 12 weeks from today.
