This is a bail application U/S.483 of BNSS by the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Khajuripada P.S. Case No.126 of 2024 corresponding to C.T. Case No.627 of 2024 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Phulbani, for commission of offence punishable U/Ss.64(1)/ 115(2)/ 118(1)/ 351(2)(3)/ 109 of BNS, on the main allegation of committing rape upon the victim by assaulting her. 3. Heard Mr. B.K.Behera, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.Pradhan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the records including the copy of depositions of P.Ws.1 to 16. 4. After having considered the rival submissions and on going through the evidence of witnesses so far examined in this case, more particularly that of the p. 2 victim, keeping in view the allegation levelled against the petitioner and trial being at its fag end, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 5. Accordingly, the bail application of the petitioner stands rejected. The BLAPL stands disposed of. The learned trial Court is, however, requested to proceed with the trial and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. A copy of this order be communicated to the learned trial Court. (G.
