For the Respondents: Mr. Abhijeet Singh Chauhan, Advocate vice Mr. Raman Jamalta, Advocate. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge This writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive relief:- “i) That the respondents may kindly be directed to consider the case of petitioner for granting the two additional increments on completion of 20 years of service as per notification dated 10.09.2015 (Annexure P-2) as well as orders of this Hon’ble High Court which has been upheld by the Apex Court in the interest of justice and fair play.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner and the issue raised herein has already been adjudicated upon in Gian Chand Versus 1 Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 HRTC & Ors.2. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be content in case the respondents are directed to examine his case in light of the aforesaid judgment within a fixed time schedule. Learned vice counsel appearing for the respondents is not averse to this prayer. 3. Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents/ competent authority to consider and decide the case of the petitioner in accordance with law as well as taking into consideration the above judgment in Gian Chand2 by passing appropriate order, within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at, shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
