Serial No. 53 Regular List IN THE HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT SRINAGAR Arb P No. 49/2024 Caveat No. 2054/2024 State (now UT) of J&K and Anr. ….. Appellant/petitioner(s) Through: - None V/S M/s Hafiz Construction Limited ….. Respondent(s) Through: - Mr. Irshad Ahmad, Advocate CORAM: HON’BLE MS JUSTICE MOKSHA KHAJURIA KAZMI, JUDGE (ORDER) 04.07.2026 01. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the arbitral award has already been satisfied by the appellants. Consequently, it is contended that the present petition under Section 34 of the Jammu and Kashmir Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1997 has become infructuous. 02. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondents, and there being no appearance on behalf of the petitioners to prosecute the present petition, it appears that the appellants are no longer interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated.
