Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- “i) That by issuing a writ of mandamus, the respondents may kindly be directed to give appointment offer letter to the petitioner as has been done vis-à-vis other similarly situated outsourced employees. Today when the case was taken up for consideration, learned Senior Counsel appearing for respondent No. 4, on instructions, submitted that without conceding to the contentions raised by the petitioner in the writ petition, as a goodwill gesture, said respondent is offering fresh appointment to the petitioner. He submitted that this should not be treated as a precedent. 3. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the offer is acceptable to the petitioner. 4. In light of this development, this petition is closed without adjudication on merit. It is clarified that the offer that has been made by the private respondent to the petitioner shall not be treated as a precedent. The petitioner shall join duties in terms of the offer contained in the appointment letter latest by 11:00 a.m. on 18.06.2026.
