This writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive relief: - “Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of petitioner for granting two additional increments on completion of 20 years of service as per Annexure P-2 and Annexure P-3 alongwith all consequential benefits incidental thereto in the interest of justice and fair play.” 2. Despite notice having been issued to the respondents on 26.03.2024, reply to the petition has not been filed till date. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that:- The case of the petitioner is covered against him in Badal Singh Vs. HRTC 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 & Anr.2, where the claim of the petitioner therein was similar to the claim raised in this writ petition; The said writ petition i.e. Badal Singh2 has been decided against the petitioner; No appeal has been filed against the aforesaid decision in Badal Singh2 and the said decision has also attained finality. In view of above submissions made for the petitioner and following the reasoning in Badal Singh2, the present petition is dismissed.
