P a g e 1 | 3 Item No. 22 IN THE HIGH COURT OF MANIPUR AT IMPHAL MC(WA) No. 62 of 2024 All Manipur Tribal Union, represented by its President Mr. RK. Ajin, aged about 64 years, S/o Late RK Lungtung, having its office at Langol Tarung Village, P.O. & P.S. Lamphelpat, District, Manipur – 795004 & 4 Ors. … Applicants - Versus - Mutum Churamani Meetei, aged about 62 years, S/o Late M. Iboton Meetei of Kabo Leikai Dewlaland, P.O. & P.S. Porompat, District – Imphal East, Manipur & 11 Ors. … Respondents B E F O R E HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. M. SUNDAR HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE A. BIMOL SINGH O R D E R [M. Sundar, CJ] 15.04.2026 [1] Captioned ‘miscellaneous case’ (‘MC’ for the sake of convenience) has been presented in this Court on 14.06.2024 but after demise of Mr. RK. Ajin on 10.05.2024. To be noted, cause title qua 1st appellant in captioned MC reads ‘All Manipur Tribal Union is represented by its president Mr. RK. Ajin’. KHOIROM BIPINCHAN DRA SINGH Digitally signed by KHOIROM BIPINCHANDRA SINGH Date: 2026.04.16 13:28:30 +05'30' P a g e 2 | 3 [2] Faced with the above situation, Mr. Lungmi Ragui, learned counsel on record for MC applicants sought leave of this Court to withdraw captioned MC but made a prayer to come up with another MC application seeking addition of 6 (six) grounds (Ground Nos. 7.8 to 7.13 in the memorandum of grounds of appeal i.e., W.A. No. 89 of 2023). This request is acceded to. [3] Be that as it may, in captioned MC(WA) No. 62 of 2024 there are two limbs of prayers i.e., one is for addition of 6 (six) grounds which has been already alluded supra and other is for deletion of Sub-paragraph No. (iii) of Paragraph No. 17 of ‘order dated 27.03.2023 made in W.P.(C) No. 229 of 2025’ (‘original order’ for the sake of brevity). This limb has become infructuous as Sub- Paragraph No. (iii) of Paragraph No. 17 of original order was deleted by a judicial order made in a review petition being order dated 21.03.2024 in REVIEW PETITION No. 12 of 2023. This means that when a fresh MC application is filed, there will be one only prayer and it would be for addition of 6 (six) grounds. [4] A scanned reproduction of endorsement made by learned counsel on record for MC applicants in this case file is as follows: P a g e 3 | 3 [5] In the light of narrative thus far, captioned MC is disposed of as withdrawn/closed albeit with preservation of rights and contentions of MC applicants in the aforesaid manner. There shall be no order as to costs. JUDGE CHIEF JUSTICE Bipin
