Ajay Mohan Goel, J (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed, inter alia, for the following reliefs:- “i) That the respondents may be directed to consider the appointment of the petitioners w.e.f. 9.10.2017 i.e. the date on which the other candidates were given appointment to the post of Warder in the Prisons and Correctional Services Department under the facts and circumstances narrated herein above; ii) That the petitioners may be ordered to be given all consequential service benefits w.e.f. 9.10.2017.” 2. Mr. Vivek Singh Attri, learned counsel for the petitioners, has referred to the reply filed by respondent No.3 and submitted that in terms of the reply, the representation filed by the 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? petitioners to the authorities is under consideration, but the same has not been decided on account of the pendency of the present writ petition. He further submitted that, at this stage, interest of justice would be served in case the respondents are directed to decide the representation so filed by the petitioners within a reasonable time. 3. In the light of the prayer, so made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation filed by the petitioners within a period of six weeks from today after giving them opportunity of being heard. 4.
