The registration of FIR No. 0015/2024 dated 27.06.2024 by the Police Station, Women Cell, Udhampur came to set into effect the filing of four proceedings before this Court. 02. The very first proceeding to be filed was Bail Application No. 143/2024 by the petitioner-Amita Kumari for the purpose of seeking pre-arrest bail by reference to FIR No. 0015/2024 dated 27.06.2024. Serial No. 05 Regular List Bail App. No. 143/2024 a/w connected matters 03. The next proceeding which came to be instituted is again from the end of the petitioner-Amita Kumari, coming up with institution of CRM(M) No. 507/2024 instituted on 04.07.2024 thereby quashment of FIR No. 0015/2024 dated 27.06.2024. 04. The Bail Application No. 217/2024 came to be filed by Atul Langeh also seeking pre-arrest bail by reference to FIR No. 0015/2024 dated 27.06.2024. 05. CRM(M) No. 761/2024 came to be preferred by Atul Langeh thereby seeking quashment of FIR No. 0015/2024 dated 27.06.2024. 06. The FIR was registered by one Poonam Priyadarshani, the wife of the petitioner-Atul Langeh and daughter-in-law of the petitioner-Amita Kumari. 07. In her said FIR, the complainant-Poonam Priyadarshani alleged marital cruelty amounting to offence with respect to her person from the end of the two petitioners i.e., her husband and mother-in-law. 08. During the pendency of the four proceedings, better sense came to prevail amongst the stakeholders i.e., Poonam Priyadarshani, the respondent in all the aforesaid petitions, and the petitioners, namely, Atul Bail App. No. 143/2024 a/w connected matters Langeh and Amita Kumari which has resulted in an amicable settlement, as a result whereof, the petitioner- Atul Langeh and respondent-Poonam Priyadarshani have resorted to mutual divorce proceedings under Section 13(B) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 on file No. 13/2026 instituted on 31.01.2026 before the court of learned Principal District Judge, Udhampur. 09. In terms of the said mutual divorce petition, the petitioner-Atul Langeh and the respondent-Poonam Priyadarshani have worked out mode and modalities of bringing to an end to their marital relationship for the sake of ever lasting peace in their respective life. 10. Today, the petitioners, namely, Amita Kumari, Atul Langeh and the respondent, namely, Poonam Priyadarshani are present in person along with their respective counsel and urge this Court to bring FIR No. 0015/2024 dated 27.06.2024 to an end for facilitating further proceedings in the mutual divorce petition to its logical end. 11. This Court has also examined the private respondent- Poonam Priyadarshani to verify the fact as to whether she is a consenting party with respect to the amicable Bail App. No. 143/2024 a/w connected matters settlement of the matrimonial dispute and she submits that her consent is without any undue influence or intimidation and also intends to bring FIR No. 0015/2024 dated 27.06.2024 to an end. 12. Accordingly, both the petitions CRM(M) No. 761/2024 and CRM(M) No. 507/2024 are allowed by quashing the FIR No. 0015/2024 dated 27.06.2024 of Police Station, Women Cell, Udhampur. 13. In view of the aforesaid, the two Bail Applications, Bail App. No. 143/2024 and Bail App. No. 217/2024 are rendered infructuous which are accordingly, dismissed. 14. Copy of this order be forwarded to the SHO Police Station, Women Cell, Udhampur to consign the FIR No. 0015/2024 dated 27.06.2024 to its record on account of being quashed by this Court in terms of the proceedings in the present two petitions CRM(M) No. 761/2024 and CRM(M) No. 507/2024. 15.
