The instant contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for their willful defiance of the interim order dated 18.09.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 2167/2024, titled “Gauri Shanker vs. UT of J&K & Ors.”, whereby the following direction was issued: “Meanwhile, before proceeding further with the indent and passing any orders, the respondents are directed to provide the petitioner with an opportunity of being heard.” 2. The respondents have filed statement of facts, wherein it is pleaded that, in compliance with the aforesaid order, the Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Udhampur, functioning as Assistant Collector, issued summons to the petitioner, directing him to appear before his Court either in person or through a pleader to Serial No. 25 2 CCP(S) No. 428/2024 put forth his claims with respect to the State land identified under Old Khasra No. 36 min (old) corresponding to New Khasra No. 58 (min), for land encompassing an area of 10 Kanals and 8 Marlas, situated at Village Sui, Tehsil and District Udhampur, which has been proposed for establishment of wet process facility at Village Sui. 3. Along with the statement of facts, an order dated 16.01.2025 passed by the Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Udhampur, has also been placed on record. A perusal of the said order reveals that the petitioner has been duly heard in the matter, therefore, there does not appear to be any contravention of the contempt of interim order dated 18.09.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 2167/2024. 4. In view of the compliance having been made, no further proceedings in the contempt petition are called for. 5.
