JUSTICE A. GUNESHWAR SHARMA Order 02.04.2026 [1] Present Mr. Tungrei Ngakang, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mrs. Ch. Sundari, learned G.A. for the State respondent and Mr. W. Darakishwor, learned Sr. PCCG appearing on behalf of respondent No. 3 (CBI). None appeared on behalf of the private respondents. [2] The petitioners who are depositors with M/S Pandam Nidhi Limited approached this Court with a direction to attach the property of respondent Nos. 6 & 7 and also handing over the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). [3] During the course of hearing, Mr. Tungrei Ngakang, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the petitioners are confining the relief in prayer No. c (ii) for a direction to handover the investigation to CBI. Learned counsel submits that on behalf of the competent authority, the Director, Institutional Finance, Manipur has requested the Joint Secretary, Home Department, Government of Manipur vide letter dated 10.11.2025 expressing that the competent authority is of the view that CBI is the appropriate agency to investigate the case against M/S Pandam Nidhi Ltd. And M/S PayGD Enterprises. [4] The letter dated 10.11.2025 is taken on record. [5] Mr. Tungrei Ngakang, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that since the competent authority has already expressed its view of transferring the case to CBI and is in the process, the writ petition may be disposed of at this stage. [6] This Court has considered the materials on record. Without expressing any opinion on the merit, in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and subsequent letter dated 10.11.2025, writ petition is closed.
