Mr. Wajid Mohammad Haseeb, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the detention order bearing No.01-DMG-PSA-2024 dated 30.03.2024, impugned in the present petition, was executed on 01.04.2024 and has, therefore, outlived its statutory life, as such, the petition has been rendered infructuous. It is also admitted by the respondents in their counter affidavit that the said detention order came to be executed on 01.04.2024. 2. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. However, the respondents are directed to release the detenue forthwith, if not already released, provided he is not required in connection with any other case.
