By this petition, the petitioners herein have alleged non-compliance of the order passed by this Court in WP (C) No. 56/2024 and CM No. 111/2024 on 12.01.2024 titled “Krishna Devi and Others vs. UT of J&K and Others”. The relevant extract of order dated 12.01.2024 is set out below: - “With the consent of learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of, at the threshold, with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner by treating this writ petition as representation and take a decision thereon, strictly under rules and as per law and pass a Sr. No. 14 2 consideration order within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order alongwith complete set of writ petition are made available to the respondents.” 2. Compliance report stands filed by respondent no. 3, wherein it is stated that the claim of the petitioners has been considered vide order dated 04.10.2025 and has been found devoid of any merits, hence rejected. Copy of consideration order is also placed on record. 3. With the passing of consideration order, the Respondents have implemented the order passed by this Court on 12.01.2024 in its letter and spirit. Proceedings in the instant contempt petition are, therefore, closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to challenge consideration order dated 04.10.2025, if they so desire.
