Having regard to the averments made in the application, which is duly supported by an affidavit of the Assistant Manager of the Insurance Company, the same is allowed and balance amount of Rs. 4,35,421/- alongwith up-to-date interest, lying deposited before the learned Commissioner, Employee’s Compensation-cum-Senior Civil Judge, Chamba, is ordered to be refunded to the appellant-National Insurance Company, in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties before the National Lok Adalat on 14.03.2026.
