The writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondent herein to conduct a survey and, if any encroachment is found, issue notice to the encroachers and remove the same. 3. The respondent has filed compliance report, wherein, it has been stated as under: “7. I state that the District Collector, Tiruvallur, has given direction to the Tahsildar, Uttukottai for evicting the encroachments as per the procedure of Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 vide his letter R.C.No.29602/2024/N2 dated 20.12.2024. I state that after complying with the relevant provisions of the said Act, 1905, the encroachments made in S.No.293/10 of Velagapuram village has been evicted on 30.01.2025 with the assistance of Police, Rural Development, Electricity, Fire and Medical department officials.” ______________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Cont.P.No.769 of 2024 4.
