JUSTICE RAJNESH OSWAL, JUDGE ORDER 27.02.2026 1. This application is filed by Union of India for appointing substitute Arbitrator in place of Engineer S. C. Thukral, who was earlier appointed as Arbitrator in terms of Order dated 03.02.2023. 2. It is submitted that Mr. S. C. Thukral vide communication dated 29.12.2023 has stated that he is no longer interested in continuing with the arbitration proceedings. 3. Mr. Sunil Singh Jamwal, learned counsel has caused appearance on behalf of the respondent and he reports no objection to the appointment of substituted Arbitrator in place of Er. S. C. Thukral. 4. In view of the above, I appoint Er. Vinod Sharma, Retd. Commissioner, J&K Govt., R/o H.No. 42, Sec 1A Trikuta Nagar, Jammu- 180020, as sole Arbitrator, who shall proceed in the matter in accordance with the provisions of the Act. The Arbitrator shall, therefore, after hearing both the parties, make an award within the time provided in the Act itself Arb P No.65/2024 2 after charging the prescribed fee along with incidental expenses, to be shared by the parties. 5. Registry to inform the above named Arbitrator about his appointment as an Arbitrator in this matter. 6. The application is, accordingly, disposed of.
