Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the local body. 2. The grievance of the petitioners is that the second respondent had put up steps on the carriage way and also over the drinage canal. The photographs produced by the petitioners bear this out. 3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned standing counsel submitted that the spot inspection was conducted yesterday and the Corporation officials intend to remove the encroachment by adopting due process of law. This process shall be completed within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The Writ Petition is disposd of accordingly. No costs.
