(ORDER) 09.04.2026 Through the medium of this petition, the petitioner has challenged Order No. DIVCOM-“K”/208/2023 dated 27.12.2023 issued by Respondent No.2-Divsional Commissioner, Kashmir, whereby the petitioner was ordered to be detained under Section (3) of the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the impugned order of detention dated 27.12.2023, executed on 01.01.2024, with the maximum period of one year has already outlived its life.
