(ORDER) 09.04.2026 Through the medium of this petition, the petitioner has challenged Order No. 06/DMP/PSA/24 dated 10.01.2024 issued by Respondent No.2- District Magistrate, Pulwama, whereby the petitioner has been ordered to be detained under Section (8) of the J&K Public Safety Act, to prevent him from the activities detrimental to Public Order. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the impugned order of detention dated 10.01.2024, executed on 12.01.2025, with the maximum period of one year has outlived its life and the instant petition has been rendered infructuous.
