Petitioners have moved this contempt petition to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondents for having violated the order dated 20.09.2023 passed by this court with the following directions: “In view of case set up in writ petition and submissions made by learned senior counsel appearing for petitioners, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to consider and decide the representation claimed to have been made by petitioners within two months from the date copy of this order is served upon respondents.” 2. Pursuant to the directions, a compliance report has been filed by the respondents stating therein that in compliance to the aforesaid directions, after thoroughly examining the contents of the court order and going through the representation submitted by the petitioners related to the instant case, the Collector Land Acquisition Budgam passed/issued consideration Order No. 01 of 2026 dated 05.03.2026, declaring the representation submitted by the applicants/land owners devoid of merit and was accordingly rejected. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners at this stage submits that the petition be disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to assail the consideration order passed by the respondents in separate proceedings. 4. In view of the aforesaid development, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to assail rejection order in appropriate proceedings. 5.
