Administrative sanction has been obtained, 4/7 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No.19467 of 2024 and the proposal has been forwarded to the District Administration for necessary approval. Further, for addressing drinking water requirements, a project for installation of a 30,000-litre capacity overhead water tank has been sanctioned at an estimated cost of Rs.19.71 lakhs under the 15th Finance Commission Grant. Necessary administrative approval has been obtained from the District Collector. Steps are being taken to commence the above works at the earliest, subject to the availability of funds, and priority will be given to completing the road works and related infrastructure improvements. 5.Recording the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader and the contents of the communication placed before this Court, this Writ Petition stands closed.
