CORAM:
HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE AND HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE MURAHARI SRI RAMAN
Order No.
ORDER 23.02.2026
07.
1. The issue pertains to the detention of a son born of the wedlock of the petitioner and one Shrikanta Sahoo, who unfortunately died prematurely. The instant writ petition was filed alleging illegal detention of the said boy and several orders were passed from time to time and ultimately, the parties were directed to go under the mediation process.
2. The parties have amicably agreed upon to resolve the said issues and also signed the agreements which they entered into
voluntarily and without any demur. The mediation report is sent to the Court vividly encompassing the agreement entered into between the parties. Now the parties have already settled the disputes and, therefore, there is no point in keeping the instant writ petition pending. Let the mediation report submitted by the mediator be accepted.
3. The writ petition is disposed of on the basis of the said mediation report.
