Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the respondent no.2 have settled the dispute inter se themselves vide the Memorandum of Understanding dated 14.08.2025, which is filed on record.
2. As per the said Memorandum of Understanding, the petitioner shall pay an amount of Rs.8,80,000/- to the respondent no.2 within a period of three years in equal monthly instalment commencing from 01.11.2025.
3. In view thereof, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to compound the offence.
4. Considering the parties have already resolved the disputes inter se themselves vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 14.08.2025, as also This is a digitally signed order. since the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881(NI Act) is compoundable under Section 147 thereof, it would be just and proper to compound the offence.
5. Accordingly, the offence under Section 138 NI Act is compounded and the composition stands recorded.

Resultantly, the present revision petition is allowed and the impugned judgment dated 05.08.2024 passed by learned Principal District & Session Judge, East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi in Criminal Appeal No.203/2023 and order of conviction & sentenced dated 05.06.2023 & 05.06.2023 passed by learned MM (Mahila Court)-01, East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi in Case No.176/2019 are thus set aside and the petitioner stands acquitted as per Section 320(8) of the Code of the Criminal Procedure, 1973.
7. Accordingly, the present petition alongwith the pending application is disposed of.
