The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 22.07.2024, requesting the respondents to refer the matter to the competent court of jurisdiction for enhancement of compensation as per section 20 of the Tamilnadu Highways Act with regard to acquired land of petitioner comprised in Survey Number 103/1A1 situated at Marambedu village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District and to serve a copy of an award to the petitioner. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition. 3. In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of by the 2nd respondent within a period of 8 weeks. 4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 37188 of 2024 record. 5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.07.2024 and refer the matter to concerned Competent Court, in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
